Marie started the Hussy label at the tender age of 21 with just $2,000 in her pocket and a healthy combination of ambition, drive and a sense of adventure. Over the past 13 years, she has built the company into a multinational organisation, with an export arm spanning 11 countries and representation from showrooms and publicists from Sydney to London and New York.

Marie's founding label Hussy is a highly distinguished and iconic brand at the forefront of the industry. Known for its eclectic prints, highly stylised "look" and extensive line in accessories, Hussy has a cult following both locally and overseas and counts celebrities like former Destiny's Child Kelly Rowland among its fans.

In addition to three state of the art Hussy flagship stores in Sydney and Melbourne, Marie recently returned from Bali where she opened Hussy's very first international store in the uber-stylish district of Seminyak. Hussy is also stocked by 120 key retailers throughout the world; including department store giant David Jones here in Australia, Fred Segal, Trend and Big Drop in the USA, Austique & Coco Ribbon in the UK and Frees & Maha Mahna in Japan.
