Katie Hosking

For Katie Hosking, fashion is not about following fad trends, but creating her own unique and timeless style.

Growing up on Phillip Island in Victoria, she moved to Melbourne to study Fashion Design. After having successfully completed her studies, she began work in the fashion industry where she spent the next ten years working as a head designer for three leading Melbourne based companies, subsequently spending each birthday during this time on an airplane whilst travelling the global fashion circuit.

In 2007 Katie took the leap of faith to pursue her lifelong dream of starting her own label, which was inspired by days spent sewing with her grandmother and the beautiful coastal environment of Phillip Island where she lives and works.

Drawing on her extensive experience in women's apparel, youth apparel and accessories and using her passion for prints and gift for design, Katie constructs timeless pieces with a colour palette that is fresh, bold, versatile and feminine.

The intricate, delicate designs and unique prints make the Katie Hosking label a force to be reckoned with. Since launching her range of women's clothing in 2007, Katie Hosking has grown from strength to strength...and she's only just getting started.
