Working an unfulfilling corporate position Sophie declined a lucrative promotion in pursuit of following her heart and turned her rewarding hobby into a full time business. Born to Greek migrant parents‚ a seamstress mother and bespoke tailor father in Western Australia‚ Sophie Kyron's artistic capabilities were nurtured early by her creative family. From just eight years old Sophie could be found hand-crafting jewellery for her dolls‚ and later as gifts for family and friends.

Not unlike the designer‚ Sophie Kyron's designs are described as "delicate‚ feminine‚ and strong" and her ranges have cemented a place in the Australian fashion industry and industry wardrobes for over 15 years. Sarah Murdoch‚ Toni Collette and Jaquetta Wheeler are early supporters of the label. Drawing inspiration from her Greek heritage and "past life as an Indian princess", Sophie Kyron's eclectic use of materials - fabric‚ vintage finds‚ beads and semi-precious stones have proven to combine the necessary mix of both elegance and durability.
