Steph Audino

Up and coming designer Steph Audino is Perth born and raised and has been capturing the attention of the local fashion industry with her ready-to-wear pieces and couture designs.

Steph Audino has completed a Certificate 4 in Applied Fashion and Design, and is currently studying for a Diploma in Applied Fashion and Technology. Her designs have appeared in student fashion shows plus Student Runway for Perth Fashion Festival, and she was a finalist in the NRA (National Retail Association) Fashion Design Awards.

Steph has a love of silks and striking prints, and describes her style as girly, classy and sexy. She gains inspiration from her surroundings and also from structure and texture. Steph is currently working on an eight piece mini collection and when she graduates in 2011 she has ambitions to work for an Australian designer to gain on-the-job experience before staring her own label as soon as possible.

Steph loves the unpredictable nature of the fashion industry and the how elements of the past are always recreated with a modern twist. She has a love for Australian fashion and is inspired by success stories of designers who have started with nothing and built their success through sheer determination and hard work.

Many other popular Australian designers such as Alice McCall and Zimmerman appear in Steph������¢���¯���¿���½���¯���¿���½s wardrobe and she hopes her designs will one day be as widely recognised within the industry. Steph������¢���¯���¿���½���¯���¿���½s career is definitely moving in the right direction and she is a young designer to watch.
