Designer, Kelli Wharton founded TALULAH with confidence in her intuition and a belief that everything happens for a reason. She always knew she was meant to be creating beautiful pieces that capture the essence of her signature style.

Kelli's love affair runs deep with vintage, fabric stores and rare treasures - travelling far and wide to source the most beautiful fabrics, beading styles and new techniques. Seeing beauty in everything, whether it's a sunset sky and falling in love with the colours that naturally combine, or water rushing down waterfalls and observing the ripples and texture that they make. Kelli uses these as a reference to dream about and inspire her collections.

Whilst studying and working for other established designers and wholesale fashion houses, Kelli began to create garments made from her favourite laces. These were then sold in leading Brisbane boutiques as one off sought after pieces. This was the beginning of TALULAH.

TALULAH debuted in 2005 as the evolution of designer, Kelli Wharton's creative journey. TALULAH's essence is inspired by vintage yet sophisticated styling, drawing inspiration from modern beauty, forgotten eras, & delicate charm.
