Leah Madden, the founder and creator of White Sands Australia has always been a beach girl at heart. Growing up on Queensland\'s Gold Coast, an all year playground with its pristine beaches, stunning resorts and plenty of sunshine. It seemed a natural progression that Leah would eventually design swimwear.

This talented Australian has a history in fashion and has twice been a finalist in the Australian Fashion Design Awards. Along with been invited to show at some of the world\'s most prestigious fashion events, including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane, Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, SWIM Fashion Week @ Sanctuary Cove, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami and Melbourne Fashion Festival Australia.

Leah has not only drawn inspiration for her swimwear from the beaches of Australia, but around the world. The designer has traveled extensively, visiting some of the finest beaches in the world and keeping abreast with worldwide fashion trends. Combined with her passion to offer high fashion swimwear, in the most exquisite Italian Lycra and Silk fabrics, all printed with White Sands exclusive prints, White Sands is looking white hot.
