• This dress is an elegant and flattering option for any formal occasion. It includes a black slip and sheer overlay so all it needs is smart accessories, swept up hair, your favourite black clutch and beautiful red lips. It's a classic dress you will wear for years and a great investment piece.

• The slip is made from 100% viscose with a v-neckline at the front and adjustable straps. The sheer overlay is plunging to the waist where it is pleated down the centre front. The shoulders can be rouched with a drawstring and the dress has batwings with an elasticised belt that fits tightly around the waist with four feature buttons. A long black tassel finished with two gold beads is secured towards the back of the collar and drapes down either side at the front. The slip requires cold hand wash and cool iron whilst the dress is made from 100% silk and dry cleaning is recommended.

• The dress is long and flattering and the belt plus shoulder straps on the slip can be adjusted to suit. It's a safe buy and the dress will work to suit your shape. The model pictured is 178cm and wearing Aus size 8 (S).
